Discipline Guidelines

At Velammal Vidhyashram School, we believe that discipline is essential for creating a conducive learning environment and fostering a culture of respect and responsibility. To ensure the smooth functioning of our school and the well-being of all students, we have established the following discipline guidelines:

Punctuality and Uniform

  • - Students should be punctual and arrive at school on all working days.
  • - Students entering the school campus must be in full uniform.
  • - No student will be allowed to enter the class without wearing the full school uniform.

Observance of Discipline

  • - Strict discipline should be observed in places like the Assembly Ground, Staircase, Playground, Transport vehicles, etc.
  • - Running and shouting are strictly prohibited in the corridors of the school.
  • - All students must form proper lines to move from one place to another within the school premises.

Classroom Discipline

  • - All students are strictly advised to maintain discipline in the classroom.
  • - Students should follow the instructions of their teachers and show respect towards them and their classmates.
  • - Any student found violating the rules will be admonished appropriately, and necessary disciplinary action will be taken.
